About me
I started my formal education in Italy where I studied Psychology and finished my degree here in London. I also hold a Higher Professional Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and receive regular clinical supervision to ensure that I am providing the best therapeutic support for my clients.
I have worked with clients of different kinds of cultures, races, backgrounds, and who have experience the following issues:
- abuse;
- addictions;
- anger;
- anxiety;
- bereavement and grief;
- bullying;
- childhood trauma;
- depression;
- difficulty in relating to others;
- domestic violence;
- guilt;
- lack of feelings;
- low self-esteem;
- obsessive compulsive disorder;
- relationship challenges;
- sex and intimacy;
- shame and feelings of unworthiness;
- trauma.
In the past I have worked for a community based counselling project at Each Counselling, in West London that helped individuals that struggled with addictions (mainly alcohol and drugs). I have also worked on other projects that offered counselling to students at LC & CTA and to parents struggling with their teenager children at the Parent Support Group.
